About Sony UP-X898MD
Sony UP-X898MD is a hybrid direct thermal printer for compatible analog and digital imaging systems, including ultrasound and mobile C-arm installations. It combines a 325 dpi thermal head with 8-bit processing and up to 256 gray levels.
The printer accepts digital input over USB 2.0 and NTSC/PAL composite video over BNC. It can save printed still images from either input to a USB flash drive, while a BNC loop-through output supports the analog video connection.
High-speed A6 printing takes approximately 1.9 seconds with UPP-110HG or UPP-110S at the standard setting; normal mode takes approximately 3.3 seconds. Sony specifies that these prints are for patient records and referrals and are not to be used for diagnosis.
